1. What Bluntly is

Bluntly is an AI-powered CV analysis service. You upload your CV, we analyse it using AI, and we give you honest feedback. That's it. By using Bluntly, you agree to these terms.

2. Acceptable use

Using Bluntly means you agree to:

• Only upload CVs that belong to you or that you have explicit consent to upload on someone else's behalf.
• Not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to scrape, access, or abuse the service.
• Not attempt to bypass payment controls, free-tier limits, or any other technical restriction.
• Not use Bluntly for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates others' rights.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse these rules.

3. Free tier

Each account gets one free CV analysis. This is per account, non-transferable, and cannot be combined or gifted. Creating multiple accounts to get extra free analyses is considered abuse of the free tier.

4. Paid plans

• Paid plans are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months.
• We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. If you disagree with a price change, you can cancel before it takes effect.
• Per-analysis payments (outside of a subscription) are non-refundable once the analysis has been generated.

5. AI-generated feedback — important disclaimer

Bluntly's feedback is generated by AI (Anthropic Claude) and is provided for informational purposes only. It is not professional career advice. We make no guarantee that following our feedback will result in job offers, interviews, or any other outcome.

AI can be wrong. Use our feedback as one data point among many — not as the final word on your CV.

6. Intellectual property

• Your CV: You retain all rights to your CV. Uploading it to Bluntly gives us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of generating your analysis — nothing more.
• Anonymised data: We may use anonymised, aggregated data (no personal identifiers) to improve our AI model. If you'd prefer to opt out, email hi@bluntlycv.com.
• Bluntly's content: The Bluntly name, logo, and all original content on the site are our property and may not be reproduced without permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bluntly is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including, but not limited to, job application outcomes.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain and the European Union. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Barcelona, Spain, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will give at least 30 days' notice of significant changes, via email to registered users. Continued use of Bluntly after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
